Brendon Daniel “Fyve”, Kammerer, 17, Rapid City, SD, left our lives to join the Lord, on Thursday, June 10th at Rapid City Regional Hospital. He was born in Lincoln, Ne on July 30, 1992 to Tammy Shepherd and Jeff Kammerer. He spent his life growing up in Alliance, NE, Fairburn and Rapid City.Brendon enjoyed life to the fullest attending Young Life on Monday nights and hanging out with his friends. He was a loving, caring and energetic child of God. He loved working with his hands doing carpentry, playing guitar and working on his motorcycle. He loved as child playing with legos, bionicles and anything he could use his imagination to create. Brendon had a passion for God, swords, and dragons. He also loved cooking, watching movies, listening to music and eating Chicken Alfredo. He was into “Anything faster than a brief walk” like riding a four wheeler, motorcycle, bike and his skateboard. He loved the thrill of adventure and speed. Brendon recently learned a new sport called ultimate Frisbee which was only one of the many new things he learned from Chris who was his mentor. He was everyone’s friend and everyone who knew him loved him. Survivors include his parents Tammy Shepherd and Jeff Kammerer; grandparents –Les and Wanda Schaper, Bev Schaper , Elaine Shepherd and Bob/Sue Kammerer; Siblings- Kameo Kammerer, Cassie Valdez, Dino “Jr.” Valdez and Ria Valdez; Great grandparents- Don and Betty Larson; number of aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of friends. Brendon had a generous heart and had decided to be an organ donor; he has given his heart, lungs, kidney, liver, eye and tissue to help someone in the area. He will continue to live in this world through someone else. He always liked to have the best of both worlds.
