Joe, Gary and Cathy : Carol was "one of my aunts that wasn't related" and I will always remember and appreciate her compassion. Her smile, her calming voice and her laugh were a great comfort to me growing up. I have been thinking of the entire Harris family and send hugs from MN.

Ron and I were devastated when we heard the news of the passing of Carol. We started to reminisce about the special friendship we have shared over the years with Joe and Carol. Ron's first memory of Carol was of the girl that was working at the Snow White Drive-In in Rapid City, SD and how she just might be the one for his friend, Joe. So, matchmaker Ron made the introduction and the magic of love took over. I will always remember Carol cutting our wedding cake, wiping the frosting off the knife with her finger and licking the frosting off that finger. As classic car enthusiasts, we had wonderful times together at the Barrett-Jackson Auction in Arizona, the National Mustang Shows in Tennessee and Nebraska and, of course, Kool Deadwood Nites, South Dakota. Carol's dedication to her faith and love for her family are true examples of the life she lived. She will always be a strong roll model for everyone to aspire to. Her favorite bird was the Cardinal. There is a saying that to see a Cardinal is to see an angel. We'll be seeing Carol in our yard at our home in Arkansas.
