Charles Edward Slider, 83, of Rapid City, passed away on February 5, 2022 at Monument Health. He was born in Smithfield, WV to Floyd Owen Slider and Lily Myrtle Gump on October 25, 1938. He went to school in Smithfield, WV. He married Kathryn Ann Haubrich on March 23, 1974 in Rapid City. He worked at South Dakota Cement Plant as a raw miller for 27 years.
Charles is survived by his wife, Kathryn; daughter, Brenda Armour Dary; son-in-law, Steve Dary; son, Chris Tahsler; brother-in-law, Richard Haubrich; daughter, Mary Letterbetter; grandchildren, Gary, Jordan, Tori, Devin, Keinya, Joniah, Nicole, Zaylie, Alexandra and Nathanyl; niece, Wilma Fluharty; and friend Erine Pritt; niece, Susan Bailes-Charlock and sister-in-law, Betty Bunker. Charles is preceded in death by his parents and his brothers and sisters and a son.
