Obituary For Dania Marthel Stranger Horse

Dania Stranger Horse was born in Valentine Nebraska on April 10th of 1973, and raised in White River South Dakota.

She graduated from White River High School in 1992, later giving birth to her son, Colton Stranger Horse.

When she turned 22, she made her way to Rapid city to build a better life for her and her son. She later met the love of her life whom she shared 26 years with, David Cole. The two would then bring two daughters into the world, Joely and Julia Cole.

She worked various jobs, but being a good mother remained her most important one, not only to her own children, but to every child that came to her home.

If you knew her, she was a fierce and ornery woman but she loved just as much.

Cooking was her love language, and every soul that came to her kitchen always left with a full belly and wátecha for days.

Reading was her favorite hobby, but in her later years became a word search connoisseur.

When it came to being in trouble with her, everyone got yelled at like they were her kids, because when they were in her house, they were her kids.

She is preceded in death by her mother; Arlene “Burley” Andrew's, Grandparents; Mr. and Mrs. Stranger Horse, father-in-law; Donny “Black-jack” Witt, mother-in-law; Kathleen “Kathy” Germem, Uncle; Joseph “Joe” Stranger Horse, Aunties; Gina Stranger Horse, Iris Sears, Sam Roubideux, Barb Whiting, son; Colton, and husband; David Cole.

She is survived by her daughters; Joely and Julia Cole, Brothers; William Larvie and Micheal Andrews, Mother-in-law; Debra Dillon, Father-in-law; Randy Dillon, Aunt; Delilah Becker, and numerous friends, cousins, nieces, nephews, and adopted children.
