Dorothy and I were in the same Bridge Club. Though I did not know her well, she was always positive and humble. These traits and her spirit were admirable. It is my privilege to have known her. May your memories of her fill the empty space she has left in your lives. My condolences.

Goodbye my Dear friend! I will miss our sharing good memories of our children, hobbies, family, life and work. You were such a good neighbor and friend. I Thank God for giving me that precious time with you. Love Ms. T.

Our condolences to you all! There truly is a new "Angel" in heaven! Mrs Davis was very special to our family. She was not just our neighbor of more than 45 years, but she was our mother's friend. Early on they worked together and Dorthy was my mom's ride (mom did not drive yet) and both took the trek from Helios Dr and back to Douglas Schools each day! She taught me how to use a small loom to make a flower afghan and she taught me how to crochet (30 years later she taught my daughter Naomi how to as well!)! When we say Master seamstress that is no joke. I once brought her my favorite swimsuit (I was a lifeguard) and she made me 2 exact replicas just by looking at the first one!! She altered my wedding dress to fit perfectly! Every Christmas stocking we have - is a work of art that Mrs. Davis knitted for us! I enjoyed spending time with her and fondly remember making sleeping bags at the Fairgrounds for children-in-need. I thank God that she was such a kind and caring friend to my mom and such a special lady to our entire family! With Love, Frances Seeley (Tomlin)

Families of Dorothy L. Davis - O God, whose mercies cannot be numbered: Accept our prayers on behalf of thy servant Dorothy and grant her an entrance into the land of light and joy, in the fellowship of thy saints; through Jesus Christ thy Son our Lord, who liveth and reigneth with thee and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. May God comfort each of you during this challenging time and give strength to all now and beyond, in Jesus mighty name, Amen. Clarence, Brenda McGlynn & Family

Mrs Davis was a very special lady. She was a gifted seamstress and I am proud to say she made some wonderful outfits for me during my teens. Mrs Davis was a great friend and neighbor to my mother Mrs T. She will be dearly missed

Such a great loss. Mrs. Davis taught me how to knit, made clothes for a doll I have had since birth, helped me see, as well as, sat with my Grandma Tomlin and I for hours. I will miss her very much.

Dorothy was a great woman. I was truly blessed to have her as my mother-in-law. Dorothy taught me how to use my first sewing machine. I loved spending time with her and admired all the quilts that she made. Dorothy had an amazing talent for making many things! She will truly be missed!
