Gary was a true son of South Dakota. He defined courage and positive thinking. It’s a privilege to have graduated with him.

I had the privilege to meet and work with Gary (and Brian) at NEW. Gary was a shining light. I was able to attend many of his concerts with the Bew Horizons band. Gary was so talented and left me amazed at all he knew. He was always positive and upbeat every time I saw him. I will treasure the time I knew Gary. He was a true fighter. You are all in my thoughts. Gary rest in peace, you fought the good fight.

Gary was such a kind gentle man who enjoyed life. We will miss him. Our prayers were always including Gary and yes, he was such a tough man with his cancers, and gave encouragement to others that they can do so much to make a better day. We will listen to his music again and I pray for his family during this time of sadness, but everything Gary did will bring you wonderful memories that you will be able to share for the rest of your lives. God Bless
