Share your Memorial with Family & Friends

I was just talking to my husband about some of the people I met while working as the Senior Animal Control Officer in Rapid City. George was the first person to come to mind as being one of the nicest people I interacted with. I met him and immediately felt his kindness beaming around him. I sat with him in his kitchen for a good couple of hours and listened to some great stories and had some great laughs. I made it a point to go several more times after our first interaction, to “follow up” although I had no reason to other than wanting to see if he was doing ok and hear him speak about life. He told me all about himself and his career, and when he would talk about his wife his eyes lit the room up!! He told me before I left one of the last times I went to check on him that I was welcome to come even if he wasn’t there and enjoy his view, he said “ Tonya you can come and meditate anytime you would like” I took him up on his offer a couple of times. I wanted my husband to see all of the amazing things him and his wife did for so many people so I looked his name up to show him and was so sad to see he had passed! I feel very blessed to have met him and feel pretty special to have had the honor of listening to him speak on life! I will never forget him or what he taught me. My condolences to his family and friends. You will be missed by many George, I can say for certain… I will miss you a great deal! Rest in Peace! No more worries for those darn coyotes messing with you! I know you are finally home with your soul mate and love of your life! With Love Tonya
