Jason’s journey began on September 26, 1976 in Mandan, ND to Robert & Susan Fischer. He grew up with a loving sister Shelly whom he shared his adventures, pranks, laughs, mischievousness & so many good times. He loved to tag along with his sister to hang out with her and her friends.
On November 1, 2002 Jason and Liz welcomed their beautiful baby girl, Carly whom he absolutely adored. He was able to see her graduate high school in May, 2021. He was so very proud that with all the obstacles and life situations she was able to conquer and get through high school. Jason was very proud she started college this fall. He loved spending time with Carly whenever he was able to. They loved sharing adventures and great food!
Spring of 2021 Jason got a puppy named Max who he shared so many walks & adventures with. Wherever Jason was Max was. Jason never had a dog of his own before and he treated Max like a king he always called him his son. Max often got shrimp, steak and all the fixings to go with it.
Jason was a successful truck driver and loved being able to drive a big semi truck. It was not just any job to him it was a job he loved and something he was proud of being able to do for himself.
Throughout the years Jason enjoyed spending time in the hills, going for drives, hiking, rock hunting and he loved listening to music and quoting lyrics on repeat. He always liked watching the sunrise and the sunsets. Often he would take pictures of them and send them to friends and family. He enjoyed treating family and friends to good meals and never turned down bacon or steak and neither did Max.
Jason was a “funny” comedian and always had jokes and laughs to share and always took the opportunity to make someone smile. It was hard to really be in a bad mood around Jason he would always find a way to turn your frown upside down.
Jason loved to spend time with friends and family who were close to him. He was always a loyal friend and never wavered from that. Jason had a heart of gold and he was a treasure that can never be replaced. His laughter is irreplaceable.
