Jeffrey Leeman Davis, 77 passed away on March 16th 2021 in Rapid City, SD.
Jeff was born December 22nd, 1943 in Roswell New Mexico to his father Shirley Leeman Davis and mother Charlotte Everetta Davis (Estes).

Jeff graduated from Laguna Beach High School in Laguna Beach California in June of 1962
He attended higher education in California and Rapid City SD.

Jeff worked as an “Offset Printer” in California and at Landstrom’s Gold Jewelry here in Rapid City as a ring polisher.

Jeff liked watching TV shows such as Dancing with the Stars and listening to oldies music from the 50’s and 60’s. He also enjoyed going for rides in the car, looking at Christmas lights and visiting with family in the Black Hills during camping trips.

Jeff took pride in being well dressed, he always wore dress pants, button up shirts and was well shaven.

Jeff had a kind very heart and was a considerate man.

He had a great love for animals and as a child he was in 4-H and Western Junior Livestock where he showed calves.
Jeff enjoyed playing the song “Walk like a Man” for their dog Andy and listening to him howl along with the music.

Jeff could be quite a character.
One time in particular they had a dog named Charlie.
Charlie had decided to go on an adventure outside of the house and yard.
Jeff acted quickly and in a matter of minutes he had Charlie returned home safe and sound.
Back at home, Charlie was running through the house looking everything over like he hadn’t been home in a very long time.
When Robyn saw “Charlie” she said to Jeff “that’s not Charlie” and asked him where he had found him.
Jeff let her know that Charlie was sitting contently on the neighbor’s porch almost like he was waiting for Jeff to come and get him.

Needless to say the neighbor got her dog back and Charlie was recovered.

Jeff leaves us with cherished memories…..of his kindness, humor, interests and being a great part of his family.
Jeff had a great life, he is and will be missed very much.
He is at peace and with God now, smiling down on us all.
