I was so much younger than Jerry that, unfortunately, I did not have the opportunity to really get to know him well. Fortunately last September while my wife Lynne and I were in Rapid City to be with my brother Gene, when he had heart surgery, Larry, Claudia, Lynne and I had lunch with John and Jerry. It is always fun to hear old stories and what everyone has done in their lives. Lynne and I extend to all of you our deepest sympathies. Know that you all are in our thoughts and prayers.

My sympathies to you all. It's tough to lose a sibling. I've lost 2. It doesn't get any easier God of Comfort May God, the God of all Comfort, Hold you close to His loving breast, May you feel His arms around you, Filling you with peace and rest. May you know that He is faithful, That His love for you is true, That He never would forsake you, But He's always there with you. In these days and nights of sorrow, When your heart is full of grief, Let His loving grace surround you And give you peace and sweet relief. By Renie Smith

Wish we could be there . We all loved him.Barb and I spent many of days and night chit chatting with him at the gas staion or up at dads. We were so glad we were able to bring all the kids to Tonopah to see him and some really good friends that got meet him. They sure enjoyed his company , as we all did. Saw him last Halloween and again we stayed out late night talking and visiting. Wish we could have made a trip to SD this past year hoping to this year. Just Glad the family was with him and he wasn't alone. We will cherish all the great conversations over the years. His love of music and all kinds was always great to hear about .
