Leo and Family, We are deeply sorry to hear about the loss of Linda. We know there have been health issues the last few years and there is some comfort in knowing she is now free of those struggles. We have known you and Linda for more than 50 years--from high school to cabin neighbors -our paths have crossed many times. We will miss her. Look back on all the good memories you were able to have and smile at the fact that you were able to share those wonderful years. May the love of family and friends comfort you and bring you peace during these difficult days. Our prayers are with you. With deepest sympathy Bob and Lani

Linda was one of my very first friends when I moved to Rapid City in 1982 from England. We were friends and sorority sisters. We prayed for each other through joy, sadness, and frustrations of life. She gave me a yellow rose bush symbolic of our sorority flower. It is strong and beautiful and blooms to this day right outside my front door. I am so sorry for all of you, you are such a strong and loving family. Thankful for the promise of heaven.

As a child, my family made several trips to the Black Hills to visit Uncle Leo, Aunt Linda, and family. Aunt Linda was always gracious, kind and smiling!! I will always have fond memories of these trips as well as times spent together at family reunions. From my family to Uncle Leo and family, we extend our deepest sympathy and thoughts and prayers. God Bless you, Aunt Linda!

I had the pleasure of meeting Linda many years ago (more than 45) as I was a college firend of her sister Lenora's. I remember being welcomed into her home and treated like family from the very first moment. The cherished blessings for her family and friends will continue for many generations! Praise God for a life well-lived, well-loved and full of His grace which was freely shared with others.

Rest well, Mrs. Shaefbauer! The world has lost a beautiful soul! I have fond memories of slumber parties and basketball games. You were the light of Christ to everyone you met. Love to the family who will wait til the Heavenly reunion.
