In Loving Memory of Mary Elaine Williams

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Mary Elaine Williams, who made her Journey to the spirit world on July 13, 2026, at the age of 55.

Mary was born on May 21, 1971, in Rapid City, South Dakota. She lived a life defined by kindness, compassion, and an unwavering love for others. She had a servant's heart and was always the first to help anyone in need, never expecting anything in return. Mary loved her husband and shared 37 great years with Bill before she was taken too soon.

Mary found great joy in cooking and took pride in sharing meals with those she loved. She was always ready to whip up frybread when asked and helped wherever she could. She also loved to sing and enjoyed doing karaoke. She also had a deep love for animals, caring for them with the same compassion she showed everyone around her. One of her greatest joys was helping raise many of her nieces and nephews, loving and guiding them as if they were her own. Her home and her heart were always open, and she touched countless lives through her generosity, strength, and unconditional love.

Mary was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Margaret Ann Sounds Sleeper Le Beau; her father, Benny W. Le Beau; her sister, Matilda Le Beau; her beloved nieces, Ashley Margaret Le Beau and Teresa LaDoux; and her beloved dogs, Tiki and Elvis.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her devoted husband, William "Bill" J. Williams; her son, Riley B. Le Beau; her sisters, Victoria Allen and Dana Le Beau Andrade; her nieces, Stella Garcia, Amanda Norman, and Brittney Vargas; her nephews, Nathan Le Beau and Chad Trueblood; her great-nieces, Natalia Munoz and Layla Vargas; her great-nephews, Taylor Le Beau, Logan Le Beau, Maddox Norman, Joseph Norman, Emmett Norman, Thomas Vargas, and Ryker Vargas; along with numerous close friends who were truly family to her.

Mary's legacy is one of love, selflessness, and compassion. She leaves behind a family forever changed by her kindness and a community made better because she was part of it. Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing that the love she gave so freely will continue to live on in all who knew her.

She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.

Mary's family would like to invite all who loved Mary to a celebration of life scheduled on August 2, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. at the Eagles Club located at 1410 Centre St., Rapid City, SD 57703. The service will consist of a traditional service by Uncle Buck, followed by food and karaoke. We ask that you dress in your best 80's attire to celebrate the life Mary loved
