There will be a celebration of life for Patti, her friends, and family on July 23 at The Eagles Club in Rapid City , at 1:00 PM. Graveside services will be held on Monday, July 24, 2023 at 11:00 a.m., at Black Hills National Cemetery.

Patricia Bridget Ruml, 70, of Rapid City, passed away on June 9, 2023, at Monument Health. She was born on July 23, 1952, to Andrew and Kathryn (O’Connor) Johnson.
Our beloved mother Patti Ruml passed away on June 9th at the age of 70. We lost someone special and full of love. Patti was a wonderful woman who had many friends and will be deeply missed. Patti was preceded in death by many friends, her best friend being Bill Ruml who called her Sam. Patti is survived by her boys Heath Ruml and Shane Ruml, and daughter Angel Hix all from Rapid City.
Patti was born in Platte, SD in 1952. Mom loved the Black Hills and her dog Blue, and all of her grandchildren.
She was a kind Soul, a barefoot Hippy, a beautiful woman and loved by many.
