I first met Randy when we worked at Burger King 45 years ago. He was such a quiet hard working kid and was the fry guy. He always seemed to be splattered with grease or he was dragging out the big thing of grease to change the fryers. I was so glad to see he had some hair on his forearms after these experiences which I think they would never let a 16 year old kid do now. Never complained always joking with Jim Seaburg. I bet they are swapping stories now. Then we all had history together first at the old Central and then at the new. I remember Randy and Bob Evens made some kind of machine for their project. I think it might have been a still. Always knew he'd do something with engineering. Randy was a really smart guy particularly in the area of math which amazed me because those math people are amazing and it is truly a gift from God.Peggy it was such a loving tribute you gave to your husband as you let him go to God. Bless you and I will remember you in my prayers, Patti Vail Miller

Randy was a longtime friend and fellow racquetball player. We spent many hours on the courts, and getting to know each other afterwards. Randy was competitive on the court, but gentle and respectful off the court. He will be missed by many. May his soul rest, now that the journey is complete. God rest his soul, as he now watches down on his family and loved ones~ Doug Phillips

Randy, after 40 years of friendship & we just got back in touch and now you’re gone. I can’t believe it. I will never forget all the board games we played at your house on Copperfileld. And all the music & time you & Peggy put in to the services. I will always appreciate how you guys took care of me, emotionally & spiritually, when I was in high school. You’ll never know how much that meant to me. I loved you for how kind, patient, smart, & compassionate you were. I always felt safe & cared for around you. I’ll say it again—you were one of the best men ever to enter my life, & I thank you for that. I will miss you more than I can express. I am so sorry for our loss. I know you’ll be looking over Peggy & the kids. I hope I can bring some of your constant happiness to Peggy as well. Love you, man ❤️ God bless.

We are unlucky in that we only knew Randy for about a year after he joined the gym that we attend. Randy was so kind and quickly we were set to be lifelong friends. To his family, we share your pain and grief in his passing. Our prayers are for your comfort during this difficult time. Randy will be forever missed.

I have had the great pleasure of working with Randy. For the last 15 years we have collaborated on projects, on and off. What always struck me was his gentle nature. His approach to life was of understanding and collaboration. He was a person you wanted to call, because you knew he would do his very best to help you out. He will be greatly missed. Peggy and kids, I am so sorry to hear about Randy. We haven’t seen you for awhile but I remember the early days at Open Bible, we had some great times together. May you all be comforted by the past memories and the reassurance he is residing in his heavenly home.
