There are so many things I would like to say about this amazing man. He was the best Grandpa a girl could ever ask for & I love him more than words can convey. He was one of the most influential & significant people in my life, I am so proud to be able to say that he was my Grandfather. He was always present in special events & milestones, such as graduation, marriage, meeting (Tyler Jr.) his great grandchild, birthday parties & I cherish the fact that he was such a big part in all of those memories. You never know the value of a moment until it becomes a memory. Cheers to you, Papa!

My father died when I was 32 year old. Rex stepped in and offered sound advise or words of wisdom. Just ask Heather or his Grand Daughter Kristi, He was the smartest man in the whole world. What a great father figure! I have known Rex for 30 years. He was a Mans Man. He liked to talk about the Black Hills of South Dakota. He was very proud of his family yes, even me. Loved his country and loved the fact that I was a U.S. Marine. He alway gave me words of encouragement when I needed it. He was always willing to share a can of Spam.. I will miss him very much. What a great example of a Husband, Father, Grandpa and Father-in-Law. Loved his family very much!
