Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m., Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at Behrens-Wilson Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 11;00 A.M., Thursday, May 3, 2018 at the funeral home followed by burial with full military honors at Black Hills National Cemetery.

Roy Daniel McFadden, 82, Rapid City, passed away Friday, April 27, 2018 at his home in Rapid City.
He was born April 18, 1936 in Quenemo, KS to Earl and Anna (Niehoff) McFadden.
Roy and Viola (Langley), his wife of nearly 61 years, lived in England, Kansas and Alaska during his 20 years in the US Air Force. Following retirement in 1990, they became “snowbirds”, spending summers in Alaska and winters in Arizona until 2015 when they made the final of 54 driving trips between these states.
Roy had many friends and family members spread across the US. He and Vi happily shared their lives and love with everyone. He especially enjoyed sharing an Alaska experience, often fishing or snowmobiling with anyone who came to visit.
Hi love of life was well known by all who knew him. He will be deeply missed by friends and family.
He is survived by his wife, Viola and a brother Leo.
