Obituary For Susan Brezina England
Susan Brezina England
May 10, 1953 - August 31, 2026
Susan Brezina England, 73, passed away on August 31, 2026. She was born May 10, 1953, in Rapid City, SD, to Robert and Bobbie Brezina. She studied accounting and was one course shy of her degree. Susan built a career with Spiegel, GE and Synchrony Financial, working hard to provide for her children, and retired from Synchrony in 2019.
Susan’s greatest passion, above all else, was her children, and she sacrificed everything for them. She also found joy in her garden and her lilacs, in quilting, and in cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs. She dearly loved her four sisters.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Richard Brezina; her son, Luke Forrest England; and Gilbert Noel Buenaventura, father of her grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Jessica England of Murrieta, CA; Emily (Chris) Boyle and Robert England, both of Rapid City; her grandchildren, Niyah, Ryan, Calyn, Anna, Tatum and Bodhi; her sisters, Sandy Goodstat of Littleton, CO, and Marilyn Schmid, Dianne Whalen, and Barb Selgestad, all of Rapid City; and many nieces and nephews.
Her only wish was to be laid to rest beside her beloved son, Luke – and on September 2, 2026, at Mt Calvary Cemetery in Rapid City, she finally got to be with him again.
