Obituary For Albert Francis Zimmerman
Albert Francis Zimmerman, 96, Black Duck, MN, formerly of Rapid City, died Friday November 1, 2013 at the Good Samaritan Home in Black Duck, MN. He was born on November 26, 1916 in Meadow, SD. He was baptized the Blessed Sacrament Church in Bison on April 8, 1917. In 1949 he married Eloise Cope and they divorced in 1975. In 1978 he married Doris (Reber) Humphrey. In 1951, Albert was honorably discharged from the US Army. Albert is survived by his wife Doris, Black Duck, MN; two daughters, Carol Laney, Bossier City, LA and Patricia Brockmann, Lynch, NE; one son, Robert Zimmerman, Colorado Springs, CO; step-sons Jim (Anita) Humphrey, Sun City, AZ and Ken (Rose) Humphrey, Black Duck, MN; one sister, Rosemary Huggins, Rapid city and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, Nov 12, 2013 at Black Hills National Cemetery with Pastor Bruce Baum officiating. Military honors will be provided by the Rushmore VFW Post 1273 Honor Guard.
