Obituary For Antone Peter Milos

Antone Peter Milos, 84, Hot Springs died Tuesday Dec. 7, 2010 at Rapid City Regional Hospital. He was born to Pauline (Kojan) and Nick Milos on June 30, 1926 in Lead, SD, where he grew up and graduated from Lead High School. After his induction to the US Army in 1946, Antone worked several jobs including mining and drafting. In 1951 Antone went to work for Milwaukee Railroad and continued working in the Lead/Deadwood area including BN Railroad in 1958. He married Helen Schwartz Flanagan in 1972 and remained in the Lead/Deadwood area until his transfer with BN Railroad to Hot Springs. Antone retired from the railroad in the late 1980’s.He is survived by 2 step-sons, Dennis Flanagan, Central City, NE; Randy Flanagan, Hot Springs; his brother John Milos, Lead; his sister Mary Braun, Lead and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife Helen Milos, Feb. 10, 2001; his sister Ann and his brothers, George and Pete.
