He is survived by his wife, Becky Rose, Rapid City; 3 daughters, Jennifer Alberts, Mesa, AZ; Melanie Hultman, Newport News, VA; Danielle Peterson, Rapid City; 3 sons, Timothy Rose, Loren Rose both of Rapid City; Jaime Peterson, Sioux Falls; 9 grandchildren; 7 step-grandchildren; mother, Catherine Peterson, Kennebec; 3 brothers, Calvin Peterson, Newton, GA; Leland Peterson, Newton, GA; Kent Peterson, Reliance; 2 sisters, Teresa Hamer, Kennebec; Ronda Wagner, Chamberlain and grandmother, Karolina Schaefer, Reliance. He was preceded in death by his father, Walter Peterson and a son, James Peterson.
