Obituary For Betty V. Wells
Betty Wells, 87, Rapid City passed away peacefully with loved ones at her side on Saturday, Feb. 13, 2010, at 8:00 p.m. This vivacious woman is now resting in peace with her husband Leroy, her daughter Kay and her sister Lucia. Betty is survived by her daughter LeeAnn Lampert, Rapid City; her daughter Lucia and husband Dwayne Lewton, Rapid City; her son Ted and wife Judy Wells, Green River, WY; her son Jon and wife Josie Wells, Rapid City; her son-in-law Randy Couchman, Perry, IA and her sister Peggy Oaks, Minnesota. Betty was blessed with eight grandchildren, Wade Lampert, Jackie Maas, Stefanie Hagel, Toni Hanks, Encela Pardo, Carol Wells, Abbie Schoenheider and Christopher Wells. Family was very important to Betty and she loved all 16 of her great grandchildren, yes 16. Though she left many loved ones behind, she has joined many as well. Betty enjoyed life and made the most of her days. She was the type of woman who did not want to waste any part of her life and believed in getting things done and moving on. Betty will be greatly missed by all of those who knew her but we are all grateful for having known her and for having the time we had.
