Beverly Ann Bush passed away unexpectedly, yet peacefully, in Hill City on Febrary 29, 2016 at the age of 62. Beverly is survived by her loving husband of 36 years, Harlan Bush, daughter Jennifer (Ryan) Fowler, sons Zachary (Bridgette) Bush, Joseph (Tricia) Bush, and Jacob Bush, and her grandchildren Barrett, Joshua, Ethan, Benjamin, Anna, and Dominic. She is preceded in death by her parents, L. Bruce Dorris & Anna Fern Dorris-Bartsch, sister Karen Elizabeth Dorris-Orzalli, grandmother Zada Mae Bartsch-Curry, grandfather Tommy Richard Bartsch, and grandson Paul Donald Fowler. Beverly was born on April 8th, 1953 to L. Bruce & Anna Fern Dorris. She graduated from High School in 1971, then attended the College of the Redwoods and earned her degree in Design & Retail in 1973. She married Harlan in September 14, 1979, after a short courtship. She took no time in settling into married life and beginning her life-long dream of becoming a mother, while Harlan ran a thriving family mining business after returning from the military (U.S.M.C.). In 1983, Harlan & Beverly picked up and moved to Nevada County, CA so that he could take up a position as an Operating Engineer with Sierra Metal Fab in Nevada City. They spent many years in Nevada County, before settling in Hill City.
