Obituary For Bruce Edward Kaiser

Bruce Edward Kaiser, 70, Spearfish, passed away September 30, 2016 at Rapid City Regional Hospital. He was born July 17, 1946 in Columbus, OH to George Abel and Norma Marie (Martin) Kaiser, Jr.Bruce graduated from El Camino High School in Sacramento, CA in 1964. He served in the United States Air Force from 1965 to 1970. He met his wife, Ruby, in May 1970 while stationed at Ellsworth Air Force Base. They married in 1972 in San Francisco, CA. They spent many happy years between South Dakota and the Bay Area. He received his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography from the San Francisco Art Institute and pursued a certification in welding at South Dakota Votech. He was a truck driver at many companies throughout the Black Hills spending 16 years with Hills Materials in Rapid City. He loved children, hunting, and pawn shops.He considered the birth of his two children, Emily (1986) and Cole (1990), his greatest achievement in this life. He continues to be their biggest fan. He was sealed to his wife and children in the Manti, UT Temple in 1986. This was his comfort in this life and beyond.Bruce is survived by his wife, Ruby Lynn (Pexa) Kaiser, Spearfish, daughter, Emily Marie Kaiser, San Carlos, CA, son, Cole Pexa Kaiser, Spearfish, brother, Scott Abel Kaiser, Aliso Viejo, CA, sister, Natalie Elise Kaiser, Auburn, CA and many sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, and three great nieces whom he loved dearly.He was preceded in death by his father, George, mother, Norma, and brother, Kevin Joel Kaiser.A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, October 6, 2016 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 1105 Todd St, Belle Fourche, SD 57717.In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Bruce’s memory to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.Interment will be a private ceremony at a later date.“Families Can Be Together Forever”I have a family here on earth. They are so good to me. I want to share my life with them through all eternity.Families can be together forever through Heavenly Father’s plan. I always want to be with my own family, and the Lord has shown me how I can.
