Candyce Lynne Dow, 58, a lifelong resident of Rapid City, died Tuesday July 26, 2011 at Rapid City Regional Hospital. She was born July 5, 1953 in Rapid City to Robert and Lu (LaRue) Marty. Candy married Dennis J. Dow, Aug. 2, 1986 and she was mother to Sheila Grinnell and Shelly (Jason) Miller, grandmother to Tre’ Christopher Grinnell, Trystin Lee Goff, Sheyenne Marie Goff and Brodie Dennis Miller all of Rapid City, sister to Sherrie (Kevin) Maret and Rodney Marty and many cherished friends and family members. She is preceded in death by her husband Dennis Dow, March 25, 2003. Candy lived her life for her grandchildren. She was a good friend to many and most generous to all. She loved American Legion Post 22 Baseball; enjoyed travelling with family; shopping; talking on the phone and gardening. She was a considerate, loving and dependable mother and she will be missed by all.
