Carma Lee (Gunderson) Wais, 72, Rapid City, SD and formerly of Schuyler, Nebraska, died Sunday, November 27, 2016 at home after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born August 18, 1944 in Columbus, NE to Wilton and Verla (Crouse) Gunderson. Carma married Robert ‘Bob’ Wais, November 30, 1971 in Oklahoma City, OK. They lived in Schuyler, NE, and in 1983 they moved to Garden City, KS. In 1998 they returned to Schuyler and then moved to Rapid City, SD in 2014. She worked a short time at a dry cleaner in Lake Andes, SD. She enjoyed home decorating. She is survived by her husband, Bob Wais, Rapid City; 2 sons, Randy (Lee) Mitchell, McCleland, IA and Andrew (Jean) Morlang, Greeley, CO; 4 grandchildren, Chris Morlang, Alex (Tara) Morlang, Brent Morlang and Randy Mitchell, Jr.; 1 great grandchild, Andrew James Morlang and her brother, Donald (Kim) Gunderson, Duncan, NE. She is preceded in death by her parents.
