Obituary For Charles L. 'Chuck' Schweitzer

Charles L. ‘Chuck’ Schweitzer, 57, Rapid City, died Friday, January 15, 2010 at his home in Rapid City surrounded by his family.He was born May 24, 1952 in Wichita Falls, TX to Delvin Harold and Doris Henrietta (Hedenstierna) Schweitzer. He grew up in Rapid City graduating from Rapid City Stevens High School in 1970.Chuck married Diana M. Tschetter on November 18, 1971 in Rapid City. He worked at Aamco Transmissions and D & F Transmissions. He enjoyed many outdoor activities including hunting, fishing camping, archery and shooting. He was a member of the Eagles Lodge and a Boy Scout Master. During his nine years in the Boy Scout organization, he mentored numerous boys to their Eagle Scout Award.Chuck is survived by his wife Diana M. Schweitzer, son Sean Lee Schweitzer, daughter, Michelle Lynn Schweitzer; 2 granddaughters, Allison and Elise Horkey and 2 sisters, Jacqueline Schweitzer and Barbara Schweitzer-Webb all of Rapid City. He is preceded in death by his father, Delvin H Schweitzer; mother Doris H. Nespor and his brother Ronald H. Schweitzer.
