Obituary For Charlotte Theresa Mikolash
Charlotte Mikolash, 94, passed on to be with her family in heaven, on August 7, 2017. She resided at The Victorian Assisted Living when she passed. She was born in Harrold, SD on November 24, 1922 to James and Bernadette (Ingle) Freeland. She moved to Rapid City, SD as a small child. She went to country school and to Cathedral High School. She was the oldest of 6 children, 4 sisters and 1 brother. She married Virgil Relf and to this union, 2 children were born, Julia ‘Judy’ and son, Leslie ‘Buddy’. Later, she married John Mikolash and they spent many happy years together bowling, golfing, and traveling in their motorhome around the United States as well as spending winters in Arizona, until John became ill.
She is survived by her daughter Judy (Jake) Roth; step children, Dale Mikolash, Lorene (Frank) Bessiden and Beverly Mikolash; five grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren, and special family Carol (Jim) Burns;
She is preceded in death by her husband, John Mikolash; son, Leslie Relf; grandson, Zachery Relf; step-son Ronald Mikolash; brother, James Freeland-Phylis McDaniels; and parents, James and Bernadette Freeland.
Charlotte’s family would like to thank everyone at The Victorian Assisted Living for being so kind and caring.
