Obituary For Clarence T. Jensen
Clarence Theodore Jensen, 85, Rapid City died Wednesday Sept. 12, 2007 at Golden Livingcenter Black Hills. Originally from Erwin, SD where he farmed most of his life with his father, Clarence was born March 27, 1922 to Andrew and Kathryn (Neu) Jensen. He was the third of four children. His sisters, Margaret Bonebrake, preceded him in death; Helen Larson, Rapid City; Joyce Vincent, Erwin, SD. Clarence married Wanda Nadine Johnson of Bryant, SD. They had 3 children, Kathryn E. Rilling, Rapid City; Clarence A. Jensen, Tucson, AZ; David L. Jensen, Sturgis; 8 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Clarence joined the US Army and served in WWII in Okinawa. He then returned to the family farm with his family. He said his favorite part of farming was his love for the animals. His favorite hobbies were fishing, hunting and playing musical instruments, his favorite being the accordion. Clarence was a wonderful son, brother, husband and father. He was kind, caring and a loving man. He was a very dedicated Christian. We will all miss you dad and you will forever be in our hearts. The good Lord has called you home now and may you finally rest. God Bless You!
