Dale G. Surface, 76, Rapid City lost his hard fought battle with cancer Sunday Sept. 12, 2010 at his home.He was born April 7, 1934 in Rapid City to Lafe and Lilly (Brown)Surface.He enjoyed building bird houses and Nascar. He is survived by his wife, Norma Surface, Rapid City; 3 daughters in Florida, Norma and husband Nick Alexander; Lois and husband Gill Nunes; Denelda and husband Frank Olyniczak; stepdaughter Kitty Silva, and her son, Virginia; 2 grandchildren, Joseph and Brigita; his sister Lois and husband Chuck Tipton, Rapid City; 2 brothers in Okeechobee FL, Kenneth and wife Jane Surface and Russell and wife Mitzi Surface and many nieces and nephews.
