Dalton James Layng, 20, Rapid City, died Sunday, January 8, 2017.Dalton was born June 2, 1996 in Rapid City to James ‘Jim Bob’ Layng and Kimberly Lewis. He attended Horace Mann Elementary, North Middle Scholl and graduated from Central High School in 2014. He was currently attending college and working for his uncle.Dalton is survived by his parents, Jim Bob and Kathy Layng, Rapid City, mother, Kimberly Anderson, Pierre; siblings, Josh Layng, Terry Sammeli, his nieces and nephews: Alex, Ryan and Vinny, Lee, April Sammeli, Angel, Venas, and Joseph, Jerrod Head, Shawn, Kyle and Katelynn Sheneman, Jamie Lee Layng, Randy, Brunson, Jay and Jesslyn; grandparents, Charlotte Dunlap, Daniel and Sandee; uncles, Ed and Randy Corley and families, aunts, Kelly Berry and her daughters, Kendra and LaLa, Sissy (Martin) Morgan. Carla and Les Tenold, Lori Lewis; girlfriend, Emily Ball; road dogs, Dillon, Tricky, Michaela, Cyrus and numerous other nephews, nieces and cousins. As a matter of fact, everyone was family to Dalton.He was preceded in death by grandparents, Betty Berry, Dennis Dunlap and auntie, Babette Brunson.
