Obituary For Darlene Beverly Bollock

Darlene Beverly Bollock, 77, Rapid City died Saturday, September 22, 2012 at her home.She was born August 12, 1935 to Stanley and Evelyn Lucille (Kelly) Whitney at home in Hanson County, Plano Township, SD.Darlene married Donald Glen Bollock August 29, 1954 in Rapid City.They lived in Mesa and Globe, AZ for 17 years and moved to Rapid City in 1972.She did the books for her husband’s business from 1957-1973 then she began working for Rapid Motors; retired in June 1981.Darlene was active in the PTA and was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.Darlene is survived by a daughter, Suzette Bollock Sterud, son, Monty (Pandi) Bollock, and daughter-in-law, Glenda (Les) Nelson; grandchildren, Andrew Sterud, Eliza (Derrick) Loeschke, Paul (Lisa) Sterud, Aaron (Kaylie) Sterud, Kyle (Lynn) Grauman, Grant (Leisa) Mason; great-grandchildren, Shauna, Tracey, Tristian, Casey, Quinton, Peyten, Breyden, and Elsa; brother, Donald Whitney (Cindy); brothers-in-law, George Bollock, Ronnie Bollock (Joy); sisters-in-law, Cookie Whitney, Carol Whitney-Johnson, Helen Whitney, Karlene Whitney and numerous nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Glenn Bollock on May 20, 2000; parents, Stanley and Lucille Whitney; brothers, Wendall, Charles, Delton ‘Bob’, Larry Whitney and by an infant grandson.
