Obituary For Darlene C. Haight

Darlene C. Haight, 72, Rapid City, died Thursday, January 16, 2014 at Sturgis Regional Senior Care.Darlene was born April 3, 1941 in Faulkton, SD to Dwight W. ‘Tom’ and Clara Lou (Garrison) Reidt. She attended country schools in the Roscoe area, Igloo and graduated from Rapid City High School.She moved to Rapid City in 1952 and has lived here since.On June 20, 1964, she married Delbert Russell Haight in Rapid City.Darlene worked at Black Hills Packing Plant until it closed and then worked at Bob Gallant Trucking.She was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church and loved to travel.Darlene is survived by a son, Russell Haight, Rapid City; a grandson, Ethan Buechler; 2 brothers, Verne (Lorraine) Reidt, Roscoe, Floyd (Virginia) Reidt, Rapid City; a sister in law, Della Reidt, Casper, WY and numerous Nephews, Nieces and friends.She was preceded in death by her husband, Delbert, June 15, 1988, parents, brothers, Clifford and Roger Reidt and a sister, Ethel.
