Obituary For Dawn Rae Kohlmeyer

Dawn Rae Kohlmeyer 43 died battling cancer at home on Saturday, April 19 2008 in Summerset, SD.Dawn Rae Ready was born June 8 1964 at Breckenridge, MN to Wilbur (Bill) and Arlene (Koester) Ready. She grew up in the Fairmount and Wahpeton, ND area. She graduated in 1983 from Wahpeton High School.She married James Yaggie on March 18, 1995 and he died on March 23rd, 1995.She married Ronald Kohlmeyer on June 16, 2001 in Rapid City, SD. They made their home in Summerset, SD near Black Hawk, SD. She enjoyed cooking and baking, long walks and living in the beautiful Black Hills.She loved reading and studying the Bible and was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses on April 14, 1979. She loved life and people so was very active in the door-to-door ministry and used every opportunity to discuss the Bible with family, friends and neighbors. She joyfully served in the full-time ministry from 1983-2003. She was a member of the Breckenridge Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses until she married and then transferred membership to the Rapid City Pine Hills Congregation. She had various part-time jobs to support her ministry.She is survived by her husband Ronald (Ron) Kohlmeyer, her mother Arlene Ready, Summerset, SD; her brother John Ready, Sabin, MN.She was dearly loved and will be deeply, deeply missed.
