Obituary For Denise Ader

Denise "Michele" was born Feb. 29, 1968, to Dennis and Rosemary (Daft) Boken in Morgantown, WV, the oldest of three children (brother, Dennis "Michael" Boken and sister, Deanne "TuTu" Boken). The family was relocated by the Air Force to Box Elder on June 3, 1971. Michele worked as a hair dresser for many years after earning her cosmetic degree providing beautiful results that kept her customers coming back and asking for her by name. Not only did Michele give of herself in her profession but also in her family life committing herself to marriage to her long time soul mate Josh Ader on July 23, 2010, in Rapid City. Michele and Josh shared two children that were a true miracle for her after being told she would never have children, Brittni Lafevere and Devin Ader. She also leaves behind five grandchildren, Daeson Moncur and Jazlynn McKoy, along with step grandchildren, Gemma Gress, Conor & Kyrah Lafevere. On Feb. 18, 2017, Michele lost her battle with cancer. She fought as only Michele could with unimaginable strength. Even on her most painful days she saw the joy in her two dogs playing tug of war over a toy, treasured a simple moment of her household sleeping peacefully, teased her son about growing his hair out in an impressive mass of curls since she was after all his personal hair dresser, or saw such beauty in a blanket fort created by her husband and grandson Daeson. Her legacy continues in the honest words of wisdom she shared with all she knew, she will be missed.
