Obituary For Donald Howard Fritz
Donald H. Fritz, 86, of Custer, SD, completed his life’s journey early on Christmas Day at Rapid City Hospice of the Hills. Donald was born May 4, 1927 at the farm home in La Qui Parle County in Minnesota.Survivors include his wife, Patricia; sisters Vera Mae Meyer, Delores Meyer, Betty Engebretson and brother Elmer Fritz. Five children include Donna Smith of Gig Harbor, WA, Stanley Fritz of Encampment, WY, Steven Fritz of Brandt, SD, Debra Davis of Custer, SD and David Fritz of Rapid City, SD; along with 15 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.Donald served in the U.S. Army during 1945-1947 and was lifelong member and former commander of Peden-Cole Legion Post #109 of Gary, SD.
