Obituary For Donnie M. Parker
Donnie passed away Thursday, July 27, 2006 at his home. Donnie was born June 26, 1953 in Sisseton, SD to Lyle and Frances (Wolfe) Parker. The family moved to Rapid City in 1962. He attended Rapid City schools and graduated from Central High School in 1971.Donnie was employed by the Pennington County Highway Department for over 19 years. He enjoyed dirt bike riding, 4-wheeling and camping with his friends and family. He also enjoyed cooking and took great pride in caring for his yard and home. His most recent interest was hunting for Fairburn Agates which he had started a nice collection. He had a strong love for his family and will be truly missed.He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Nanette, a son, David, a daughter, Kimmy, Travis Fines and their daughter Kaydence Fines Parker, all of Rapid City; Siblings include, Barb Hull (Kenneth), Mankato, MN, Beverly Verbarg (David), Pasco, WA, Connie Schooley (Don), Cathy Mettler (Blake) both of Rapid City; a brother, David Parker (Sharon), Portland, OR and many nieces and nephews.
