Obituary For Dorothea G. Pierce

On September 1, 2012 our beloved mother Dorothea Glenna Grover Pierce, 89, went to be with our father in heaven. Born on April 10, 1923 in Rapid City to Frances Hamm Grover and Harry Grover of Rockerville, SD. Two brothers, Wilmer Grover of Keystone, SD and Clifford Grover of Trabuco Canyon, CA. She attended school at Rockerville and Rapid City. She was married to Harley R. Pierce on June 26, 1940 in Rockerville. They had three children, Mona Rae Kendall of Spokane Valley, WA. Harley R. Pierce Jr. of Beatrice, NE., and Jackie Bledsoe of Spokane Valley, WA. Dorothea has seven grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. Preceding her was her husband Harley R. Pierce Sr., son Harley R. Pierce Jr. and. Two brothers, Wilmer Grover and Clifford Grover. Surviving her are two daughters, Mona Rae Kendall and Jackie Bledsoe, Step-mother Vivian Grover, Daughter-in-law Roxanne Pierce and Sister-in-law Roberta Grover and several Nieces and Nephews and their families.
