Dorothy and I became friends as seniors in high school. We partnered as physical education assistants. And I chose Dorothy to be one of my bridesmaids several years later. We went our separate ways and I always regretted not keeping up with her. In subsequently years I got news and updates from her brother, Tom. I think of her fondly.
