Dorothy M. Hauck, 85, Rapid City died Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2008 at Rapid City Regional Hospital. She was born July 3, 1922 in Skidby, England to Walter and Zillah (Watson) Bugg. Dorothy was a British War Bride. She married Emil F. Hauck while he was stationed in England. Emil was in the US Army and Dorothy was in the Royal Air Force and the both served during WWII. Dorothy lived in Rapid City for over 50 years and was a member of the ‘British Wives Club’. Dorothy is survived by 2 daughters, Linda and husband Lacy Carter, Rapid City; Carol Hauck, Lead; 2 grandchildren, Lindsey Reif, Portland, OR; Evan Reif, Lead; and dear friend Hildegard Berger, Rapid City. She was preceded in death by her husband Emil F. Hauck, July 14, 1994; 1 brother, 1 sister and her parents.
