Obituary For Dustin A. Davis
Dustin Alain Davis, 26, Rapid City, died Tuesday, April 27, 2010 at the Methodist Hospital-Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. Dustin was attending Oglala College in Rapid City when he was diagnosed with cancer in November, 2009. He was doing well in his classes and really enjoyed his Speech Class. He remained positive about his condition and fought right up to the very end. He wrote a note to his family and friends saying he would be all right, for everyone to pray for him and that he was going to ‘take a nap’. Survivors include his mother, Berlinda Davis, brother, Clifton Davis, and sister, Rhamie Davis and special friend, Cassondra Hackett, all of Rapid City. His father and stepmother, David and Victoria Davis, Custer; brothers, Daniel Davis, Spearfish and Dana Davis, Custer; stepbrother, John Beaver; stepsister, Janet Manning; both of Rapid City and stepsister, Karen (Todd) Beaver, White River; his grandparents, Richard and Dorothy Davis, Rapid City; his nephews, Liam and Gabriel and his niece Tessa Mae Beaver. Dustin was preceded in death by his grandparents, Cecil and Beverly Provencial.
