Obituary For Dwayne Eugene Jager
Dwayne Eugene Jager, 68, Rapid City, died Sunday Feb. 14, 2010 at Rapid City Regional Hospital. He was born Oct. 9, 1941 to Martin and Clara (Frye) Jager in Alpena, SD. He grew up on the farm near Alpena and graduated from Lane High School in 1959. Dwayne married Dween Fish in 1961. In 1965 he married Florence E. Koenig and they lived in Rapid City. He worked in the automobile industry at various places including Rushmore Honda, Jacobs Motors and Liberty Volkswagen-Jeep-Chrysler, retiring in September 2009. Dwayne was an avid outdoorsman; enjoying hunting and fishing. He was involved with ‘Make a Wish Foundation’; enjoyed traveling, taking road trips and classic cars. He was a member of the Moose Lodge #1137. Dwayne is survived by the Love of his life, Linda, Rapid City; 5 daughters, Julaine Jager, St. Cloud, MN; Jennifer Jager, Box Elder; Krista; Carina; Julie; 10 grandchildren and his brother, Darwin and wife Debbie Jager, Gillette, WY. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Dween and their infant son; second wife Florence; his parents and a brother, Orville Jager.
