Obituary For Ella Dvoracek

Ella Francis (Plihal) Dvoracek was born on August 30, 1918, on the family farm near Tyndall, South Dakota to Joseph and Emma Plihal. In 1941 she married George Frank Dvoracek of Tabor, SD. After George's service in WWII, they moved to Rapid City where they lived for many years. Ella completed her degree in Elementary Education at Black Hills State and had a long and respected career of public school teaching in Rapid City. She loved playing golf and bridge with George, and most of all her family and friends. Ella was a gracious, loving soul. In 2014 she moved to Grand Forks, ND to be closer to family. She is survived by her daughter, Jacqueline Dvoracek Davis (W. Jeremy) and grandchildren Jeremy Michael Davis (Kristen Smith Davis) and Sarah Elizabeth Davis (Cullen Anderson). She was preceded in death by her husband George, sisters Ann and Lillian and brothers Joseph and Edward.
