Elsie Herman, 85, Rapid City, died Saturday, December 28, 2013 at Golden Livingcenter Prairie Hills, Rapid City.She was born September 20, 1928 to Joe and Cecelia Kraft. Her folks lived on a farm 5 miles north of Onaka, SD.In April 1947, Elsie married Gotlieb Geist.She married Barney Herman from Aberdeen in 1966. They lived at Mina Lake for 29 years, moved to Casper, WY for 5 years. They lived in Aberdeen for 2 ½ years moving to Rapid City in 2002 where they have lived since.She is survived by her husband Barney Herman, Rapid City; son Dean (Rena) Geist, Casper, WY; 2 sisters, Sally Jung, Aberdeen, Arlene Kindelspire, Lakeveille, MN and a step daughter, Lori Hansen, Aberdeen.She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Leo Kraft, a sister Genny Walz and a step son, David Herman.
