Emily Louise Latimer, 82 years of age passed away on September 11th , 2026 in Rapid City SD.

Emily was born on January 25,1944 in Grand Junction CO and was raised by Howard and Louise Greybeal in Delta CO. She spent her growing up years in Delta CO and graduated from Delta High School. She was married to Loran Joe Latimer on July 6th , 1963 in Delta CO and moved to Uravan CO after getting married. Emily and Joe spent 17 good years in Uravan CO working in the mines. They had three children Betty, Kurt and Cindy. Being in the mining industry they spent time in Hanna WY Rifle CO with lots of adventures along the way. Emily enjoyed being a homemaker, working at A&W and being a cook at the Senior Center in Hanna Wy. She loved to be around people and enjoy bowling, needle work of all kinds and crafting.

Emily knew Jesus as her personal Savior and attended many different Bible Community churches over the years. We know that she is in heaven with her Savior and is free of pain and struggles of this life. She would want you to know that you must have a personal relationship with Jesus to see her again someday!

Emily is survived by her husband Joe Latimer and children Betty Kothe of Rock Springs Wy and her family, Cindy (Mike Mann) Helen Mann of AZ. Emily’s sibling were Warren (Patti) Greybeal and Preceded in death were parents and sister Barbara Williams and son Kurt Latimer.

Funeral Services for Emily Latimer will be held at Calvary Chapel in Rapid City SD on October 5th and 11am, following the memorial service there will be a lunch provided!
