Obituary For Eugene Abraham Solano

Eugene Abraham Solano of R.C., passed away on April 7, 2026, in R.C.

Gene was born at St John’s Hospital in R.C. to Abe and Nickie Solano on June 10, 1961.

He was employed with the City in the Sanitation Dept. for many years and the Army National Guards.

Married to Carol Edward in May 1989, and together raised her 3 sons, Christopher, Ron, and Jason.

“Geno” as he was known by many, is survived by sons, Christopher (Angela), Ron (Naomi), and Jason (Joell), 10 grandchildren, sisters; Mary Holland (Steve), Carmen Mefferd (Mike), Chris Donelly (Guy), brothers; Herkey Solano (Barb), Mike Solano, Jim Solano (Sarah) , aunt; Mary Roybal, numerous nieces and nephews and cousins.

Geno was preceded in death by his wife, Carol and his father and mother.

May Eugene's memory bring comfort to all who knew him.
