Obituary For Eugene Dallas Tucker

Eugene Dallas Tucker, 81, Rapid City, died Monday, November 28, 2011 at Rapid City Regional Hospital.He was born January 6, 1930 in Madison, SD to Dallas and Malo (Conn) Tucker. He was raised and educated in Madison and graduated from Madison Central High School. He then enlisted in the US Navy and was honorably discharged on December 2, 1949. .Eugene married Donna Deragisch on December 23, 1951 in Rapid City. They had 3 sons, Ted Dale, Tim Dallas and Tracy Dean and lived in Rapid City the majority of their married life. He worked for NCR for many years retiring in 1990. Donna preceded Eugene in death on March 18, 1989.Eugene married Sandra (Budrow) Connor on February 3, 1990 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Cathedral, Rapid City.He enjoyed golfing, fishing, gardening and was a great handyman. He especially loved spending time with his grandchildren. He was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church, ELKS Club and Canyon Lake Senior Citizens’ Center where he was an avid pool player.He is survived by his wife, Sandra Tucker, Rapid City; 3 sons, Ted Dale Tucker, Montgomery, Alabama, Tim Dallas (Colleen) Tucker, Madison, SD, Tracy Dean (Micaela) Tucker, Anchorage, Alaska; step sons, Thomas (Dawn) Connor, Shawn (Michaela) Connor, both of Rapid City; 14 grandchildren; 3 brothers, Kenneth Tucker, Sioux Falls, Francis ‘Bud’ Tucker, Raymond, WA, Roger Tucker, Riverside, CA and a sister, Connie Pardy, Howard, SD.He was preceded in death by his first wife, Donna and a brother Glenn Tucker.
