Obituary For Frank William Fife

Frank William Fife, 92, Tooele, UT and formerly of Rapid City, passed away peacefully early in the morning of February 26, 2015, with his wife by his side to meet the loved ones that were waiting to welcome him home. He was born September 22, 1922 in Spencer, SD to Ray T. and Emma (Murray) Fife. He leaves behind his brother Robert, New Smyrna Beach, FL; three sisters, Fern Bennett, Sturgis; Ada Henninger, Lead and Flora Tevis, Lacey, WA; also his wife Anita (Burr, Duluth, MN) Fife, Tooele, UT. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Anna Ethel Fife and his wives, Arlet Jean Fischer and Connie Hope Fogle who died from cancer. Frank was a WWII veteran having served in the US Army in the Med Det, 179th AAA Bn in Pacific-Asiatic Theaters. He had a total of 29 years service including the Reserves and Army National Guard. He retired from the US Postal Service in SD. It was fun to hear some of the experiences he had when delivering on his route. Memorial services were held at the Cornerstone Baptist Church in Tooele, UT for his friends and family and Pastor Tim Wilson conducted the Celebration of Franks life. Frank requested to be cremated and have his remains sent to Rapid City for interment at Pine Lawn Memorial Park.
