Obituary For Henry Keester

Henry Keester, 79, Ft. Meade died Monday Jan. 22, 2007 at Ft. Meade VA Medical Center. Henry was born Dec. 31, 1927 in Imlay, SD to Ray and Susie (Harvey) Keester. He served in the US Air Force from Feb. 1946 to Dec. 1948 and was recalled in Sept. 1950 and was honorably discharged in Aug. 1951. He worked for Buckingham Trucking in Rapid City, the oil fields in Wyoming and later managed gas stations in Rapid City, ranched near Manderson, SD for many years and owned and operated the Longhorn Bar in Scenic, SD for a short time. Henry is survived by one brother, Gilbert Keester, Manderson, SD; three sisters, Bernice Maggard, Kathrine Sollid, Grace Hern, all of Rapid City and several nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents, Susie and Ray Keester, Manderson, SD; sister, Elina Jimenez, Rapid City and brother, Art Keester
