Obituary For Herbert A. Pfeiffer
Herbert A. Pfeiffer, 78, Norwalk, Ohio died Sunday, July 29, 2007 in the Ohio Veterans Home in Sandusky, Ohio. He was born Nov. 6, 1928 in Fremont, OH to the late Edward J. and Veneva (Bork) Pfeiffer and was a 1946 graduate of Norwalk High School. He was a 20 year veteran of the US Air Force finishing his military career in Rapid City, SD where he lived for many years. He was a former member and a Deacon of the Westminster Presbyterian Church in Rapid City and was also a member of Rapid City Lodge #37 Independent Order of Odd Fellows, Rebekah Lodge #47, Rapid City and many Masonic Organizations including Rapid City Lodge #25 A.F. & A.M... He enjoyed pets, music and gardening. Herb is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Marilyn & George Szigeti, St. Louis, MO; Diana & Darwin Klassy, Lexington Park, MD; Barbara & J.P. Allen, Clarksfield, TN; step-sons Lloyd (Hoot) and wife Helen Gibson, Rapid City; Wesley and wife Lillian Gibson, Kalamazoo, MI; 5 grandchildren, 4 step-grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; his brother and sister-in-law, Robert G & Cleo Pfeiffer, Norwalk; sister and brother-in-law, Bonita & William Kay, Corning, CA and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Betty M (Fergeson) Pfeiffer, June 23, 1983 and his second wife, Margaret J (Gibson) Pfeiffer, Oct. 17, 1999
