He is survived by his 5 daughters, Arisbet, Escalante; Yolanda Escalante; Sabrina Escalante; Roxana Escalante and Maria Rocio all of Hill City; his sister, Maria Luisa Vargas, West Chicago, IL; 5 brothers, Israil Escalante, Hill City; Jose Luis Escalante, Mexico; Rosario Escalante, West Chicago, IL; Guadalupe Escalante, Mexico; Rene Escalante, Hill City; 2 step-brothers, Noe Escalante, Hill City; Saul Escalante, Mexico and 2 step-sisters, Lorena Munoz, Santi, CA and Yanet Espinal, West Chicago, IL. He was preceded in death by his wife, Rocio Escalante, March 16, 2006.
